Holy Shepherd offers programs for members of all ages. Our programs are intended to give participants an opportunity to grow in faith, expand their knowledge, and make new friends.

Faith Formation

For many, faith was nurtured during childhood and further developed during youth. For all, our faith continues to grow and strengthen throughout adulthood.  Holy Shepherd understands that our relationship with Jesus is ever-changing as the Holy Spirit continuously awakens us to the wonders of God.  The Prayer Ventures small group explored these wonders during one of their monthly gatherings when they went to the Indiana Dunes (pictured left).

Other opportunities for ongoing faith formation include small groups which gather each year during Lent to read and discuss a book. This congregational event draws us closer to God and to each other.

Fellowship

Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:20).   This includes fellowship!   Potlucks, groups for women and men, golf and bowling leagues, trips to the zoo and concerts….opportunities abound to enjoy the company of your fellow adult Holy Shepherd family members.  Intergenerational activities such as Fall Festival provide fun in a faith-filled environment for people of all ages.

Learn

Learning about the saving grace of Jesus Christ doesn’t end with confirmation!  Come and meet God in Scripture, where God continues to reveal himself to us. During daytime and evening Bible Studies, small groups read and discuss the Bible, and apply the truths found within to our everyday lives.

Sunday School and Vacation Bible School classes are also offered for adults.  We hope you will join us!
